WASHINGTON, D.C. — Final night time, President Biden issued a proclamation to lift the Part 201 tariff charge quota (TRQ) for imported photo voltaic cells from 5 gigawatts (GW) yearly to 12.5 GW. The TRQ enhance to 12.5 GW is retroactive for cells imported on or after August 1, 2024.
