A working group comprised of stakeholders and representatives from trade is being established to help the CAA coverage groups and different material specialists tasked with growing coverage and regulation pertaining to vertiports established at a location aside from an current licensed or certificated aerodrome.
The challenge includes 4 key components when growing this new fashion of aerodrome together with vertiport design, impediment limitation surfaces/ quantity, visible aids and rescue and firefighting companies (RFFS).
Different areas of discussions will embrace vertiport licencing, Security Administration Methods (SMS) and emergency planning/emergency orders.
